Role Description The Senior Technical Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Masr El Gededa. This role is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of elevator systems, including design review, installation supervision, testing, commissioning, and maintenance support. The Senior Technical Engineer will diagnose technical issues, provide solutions, and ensure that all work complies with safety standards, local regulations, and company quality guidelines. Daily tasks include coordinating with vendors and internal teams, preparing technical documentation and reports, supporting project planning and timelines, and providing technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians. The role also involves continuous improvement of technical processes and participation in client meetings to clarify requirements and present technical recommendations. Qualifications Strong technical expertise in elevators or related mechanical/electromechanical systems, including design principles, installation practices, and maintenance methodologies. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications, with solid skills in technical documentation and reporting. Demonstrated experience in on-site project coordination, problem-solving, and troubleshooting complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment. Good understanding of safety standards, relevant codes, and regulatory requirements related to elevator systems and construction projects. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with vendors, customers, and internal teams. Proven leadership capabilities, including mentoring junior staff, organizing work schedules, and supporting quality and performance improvement initiatives. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field. Prior experience in the elevator industry or building services sector in Egypt or the region is highly beneficial. Comfort with using digital tools and platforms for project tracking, documentation, and communication.
