Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Sales Engineer role based in New Cairo. The Technical Sales Engineer will identify customer needs, propose appropriate machinery solutions, and prepare technical and commercial offers for clients across food, beverage, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries. Daily tasks include conducting site visits, performing technical assessments, delivering product presentations and demonstrations, and coordinating with international partners on technical specifications and project requirements. The role involves supporting customers during installation and commissioning, addressing technical inquiries, and collaborating with the automation and after-sales teams to ensure smooth operation and high customer satisfaction. The Technical Sales Engineer will also maintain a structured sales pipeline, participate in tenders, and contribute to market development in Egypt and the MENA region. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Technical Sales and Sales skills, with a track record of managing industrial or capital equipment sales cycles. Candidates should possess solid Sales Engineering capabilities, including interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and process requirements. Candidates should possess effective Technical Support skills, with the ability to assist customers in troubleshooting and solution implementation. Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for engaging with clients, partners, and internal teams, both verbally and in writing. Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering (or a related technical field) are highly beneficial. Experience in filling and packaging machinery, automation systems, or process equipment within food, beverage, chemicals, or pharmaceuticals is an advantage. Strong problem-solving skills, customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work on-site and visit client facilities as needed. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools; good command of English for communication with international suppliers is preferred.
