Job Details

First: Cost Control

* Prepare and monitor product and item costs periodically.
* Review manufacturing formulas and approved recipes, ensure accuracy and update when needed.
* Analyze raw material cost and monitor the impact of purchase price changes on product cost.
* Compare actual cost to standard cost and analyze variances and state their causes.
* Monitor raw material consumption rates and compare with approved rates.
* Analyze waste and spoilage and operational variances and propose corrective actions.
* Prepare periodic reports on product and material cost, profitability and variances.
* Contribute to pricing studies by providing cost data and profit margin analysis.
* Track cost-related performance indicators, productivity, and resource efficiency.

Second: Purchasing Auditing

* Review purchase requests and purchase orders and ensure compliance with approved procedures and authorities.
* Audit supplier invoices and reconcile with purchase orders and receiving documents.
* Monitor compliance with purchasing policies and ensure supporting documents are available for operations.
* Review prices and supplier terms when needed and raise notes related to deviations or risks.

Third: Inventory Control

* Review inventory movements and ensure accuracy of input, output, transfer and discard operations.
* Supervise regular and surprise stock takes and ensure they are conducted according to approved procedures.
* Review stock take results, analyze variances and coordinate resolution with relevant parties.
* Verify the accuracy of inventory balances and reconcile with records and systems used.
* Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant authorities to reduce waste, shortages or inefficient storage.

Fourth: Manufacturing and Production Follow-up

* Review manufacturing orders and ensure correct consumption of raw materials for production operations.
* Monitor actual production quantities and compare with planned and approved figures.
* Review actual consumption rates against approved manufacturing formulas.
* Analyze production, material, and waste variances and prepare necessary reports.
* Coordinate with related departments to improve process efficiency, reduce waste and raise productivity.

Reports and Outputs:

* Product and item cost reports.
* Variance reports between actual and standard costs.
* Waste and spoilage reports.
* Stock discrepancies reports.
* Profitability analysis reports.
* Inspection notes reports for purchases, inventory and manufacturing.

Key Performance Indicators:

* Accuracy of product costing.
* Variance ratio between actual and standard cost.
* Waste and spoilage rate.
* Inventory discrepancies ratio.
* Accuracy of inventory balances.
* Timeliness of reports submission.
* Number of inspection notes addressed and process improvements implemented.
