Role Description The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing interior concepts, layouts, and detailed designs that support Swedish Group EG’s integrated project workflows. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, preparing interior design proposals, coordinating FF&E selections, and producing construction and working drawings in collaboration with architecture and engineering teams. The role involves site visits, design coordination with fit-out and fabrication teams, and ensuring that designs align with sustainability objectives, performance requirements, and client expectations. The Interior Designer will participate in client meetings, prepare presentations and mood boards, and support project documentation from design through execution. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Qesm El Maadi. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Interior Design and FF&E selection, including concept development, material choices, and finishes that align with project and brand standards. Proficiency in Space Planning to create functional, efficient, and aesthetically coherent layouts for commercial and high-performance environments. Solid understanding of Architecture and its integration with interiors, including coordination with façade, lighting, and building systems. Experience preparing accurate Construction Drawings and technical documentation suitable for fabrication, fit-out, and on-site execution. Strong proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., Auto CAD, Revit, Sketch Up, Rhino, or similar), plus familiarity with visualization tools (e.g., 3ds Max, Enscape, V-Ray). Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience. Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and manage multiple projects within defined timelines. Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and interest in sustainable and innovative design practices; prior experience in commercial or high-performance projects is an advantage.
