Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Irrigation Technician role based in Cairo. The Irrigation Technician will install, inspect, and maintain irrigation systems for landscaped areas, ensuring efficient water distribution and system performance. Daily tasks include monitoring controllers and valves, adjusting sprinkler heads, and repairing leaks, pipes, and fittings as needed. The role involves diagnosing system issues, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating with supervisors and project teams to support project schedules and quality standards. The technician will document work performed, follow safety procedures, and communicate clearly with colleagues and clients to ensure reliable and sustainable irrigation operations.
Qualifications
Practical experience in Irrigation installation, operation, and maintenance, including controllers, valves, and piping. Knowledge of Landscape Maintenance practices, including plant watering needs and efficient water usage. Strong Troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving irrigation system faults and performance issues. Effective Communication and Supervisory Skills to coordinate with team members, subcontractors, and site management. Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing components related to irrigation systems. Ability to read and interpret site plans, irrigation layouts, and technical manuals. Commitment to safe work practices and adherence to company procedures and standards. Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or facility maintenance is preferred. High school diploma or technical certificate in a relevant field is an advantage. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and to perform physically demanding tasks.
