Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based at NIS in Giza. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling, editing, and refining video content for school events, marketing campaigns, social media, and internal communications. Daily tasks include organizing and reviewing raw footage, selecting the best takes, applying color correction, adding sound effects and music, and ensuring brand and visual consistency. The role also involves creating motion graphics and simple visual assets, collaborating with academic and administrative teams to understand project goals, and adapting content for multiple platforms and formats. The Video Editor will manage project timelines, maintain organized media libraries, and ensure that all content aligns with the school’s educational mission and visual standards. Qualifications Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including handling raw footage, timelines, and multi-format deliverables. Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, high-quality visual tone and style across projects. Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and basic Graphics for intros, lower thirds, titles, and educational content. Experience with industry-standard editing and post-production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar). Solid understanding of audio editing, music and sound effects integration, and exporting videos for web and social media platforms. Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with educators, administrators, and marketing teams. Previous experience in education, media production, or a related field is an advantage; relevant portfolio demonstrating video and motion work is required.
