Role Description The English Instructor will deliver engaging, communicative English lessons to learners at various proficiency levels in an on-site setting in Alexandria, Egypt. This is a full-time role responsible for planning and structuring lessons, preparing instructional materials, and aligning content with course objectives and learner needs. The instructor will assess learner progress through assignments, quizzes, and class participation, providing constructive feedback and support. Daily tasks include facilitating interactive activities, maintaining classroom discipline, and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment. The role also involves participating in curriculum development, attending staff meetings and training, and keeping records of attendance, performance, and assessment results.
Qualifications
Strong instructional skills in English Teaching, Language Teaching, and general Teaching, with the ability to engage diverse learners. Background in Education and curriculum delivery, including lesson planning, classroom management, and learner assessment. Proficiency in Writing, including the ability to teach academic and professional writing skills and provide clear written feedback. Excellent command of spoken and written English, with clear pronunciation and the ability to explain concepts simply. Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; teaching certifications (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) are an advantage. Previous experience teaching English in a classroom or training environment is preferred. Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills, with reliability in a full-time, on-site schedule.
