Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Development Engineer, located in Cairo, Egypt. The Senior Development Engineer will be responsible for overseeing research and development initiatives, designing and developing software and hardware systems, programming, and conducting detailed product testing. The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure innovative and high-performing product outcomes. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Architectural Development Team Leader to lead the development process of real estate projects from concept to launch. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing design reviews, evaluating new development opportunities, conducting feasibility studies, and coordinating with consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure project success. Key Responsibilities Development & Project Evaluation• Lead the evaluation and development of residential, commercial, administrative, and mixed-use projects.• Identify and assess new investment and development opportunities aligned with the company's growth strategy.• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and highest & best use studies.• Participate in land acquisition assessments and site due diligence activities.• Prepare development briefs, project concepts, and feasibility recommendations for management. Design Management• Review and evaluate concept, schematic, and detailed architectural designs.• Ensure designs comply with project objectives, local regulations, authority requirements, and company standards.• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and technical teams to optimize project functionality and value.• Provide technical feedback and value engineering recommendations throughout the design stages.• Monitor design progress and ensure timely submission of deliverables. Stakeholder Coordination• Act as the focal point between consultants, technical departments, commercial teams, and senior management.• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Construction, and Finance teams to align project requirements.• Participate in consultant selection, evaluation, and performance monitoring. Reporting & Strategy• Prepare development reports, presentations, project assessments, and management recommendations.• Present project opportunities and development strategies to senior management.• Support strategic planning and expansion initiatives. Team Leadership• Lead, mentor, and develop the Architectural Development team.• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure achievement of departmental objectives.• Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives within the team. Requirements• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture Engineering.• 7–10 years of experience in Real Estate Development, Design Management, or Architectural Planning.• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a Team Leader or Senior Development position.• Strong experience in architectural design review and development management.• Proven experience in identifying and evaluating new real estate development opportunities.• Solid understanding of feasibility studies, market analysis, and project evaluation.• Experience dealing with design consultants and multidisciplinary teams.• Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and authority approval processes.• Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, Sketch Up, and MS Office.• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
