Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a System Administration Course Instructor based in Egypt. The instructor will plan, deliver, and update course content covering core system administration topics such as operating systems, user and permission management, system monitoring, backup and recovery, and basic networking. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and lab exercises, teaching classes in person, guiding learners through hands-on labs and troubleshooting exercises, and providing timely feedback on assignments and assessments. The instructor will support learners through office hours, mentoring, and exam preparation, while maintaining accurate records of attendance and performance. The role also involves collaborating with ATI staff to improve curriculum, align training with industry standards and certifications, and ensure a positive, inclusive classroom environment. Qualifications Strong analytical skills, including the ability to diagnose system issues, interpret technical data, and guide learners through structured problem-solving. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to learners with diverse backgrounds. Demonstrated experience in training, teaching, or training & development, preferably in IT, system administration, or a related technical field. Hands-on experience with system administration (e.g., Windows Server, Linux, user administration, system security, basic networking, and scripting) in academic or industry settings. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience and certifications (e.g., Comp TIA Linux+, Server+, Network+, Security+; Microsoft or similar credentials). Ability to design and deliver engaging labs, projects, and assessments that reflect real-world system administration tasks.
