Role Description Supervise and manage all electrical installation activities on construction sites, ensuring compliance with project specifications, drawings, and standards. Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth project execution. Review electrical shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documents before implementation. Monitor site progress, quality, and safety requirements, and prepare regular progress reports for management. Conduct inspections, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-current systems. Manage manpower, materials, and equipment resources efficiently to achieve project schedules and budget targets.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.5–7 years of experience in electrical site engineering within construction projects (commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure). Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, local codes, standards, and safety regulations. Proficiency in engineering software and tools such as Auto CAD, MS Office, and project management applications. Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving, and leadership skills with the ability to manage site teams effectively. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents, with experience in testing and commissioning activities.
