Responsibilities• Execute complex general ledger operations including journal entries, account maintenance, and full-cycle month-end and year-end closing processes.• Own the preparation and presentation of monthly financial reports and variance analyses for leadership reviews, ensuring insights are aligned with strategic business goals.• Oversee asset accounting operations including lease accounting under IFRS 16, fixed asset lifecycle management, and strategic depreciation planning.• Optimize inventory and cost accounting processes, ensuring accurate valuation, variance analysis, and alignment with global standards.• Perform P&L reviews, Ensure accurate and timely Revenue Recognition in compliance with IFRS.• Perform advanced account reconciliations, resolve long-standing discrepancies, and ensure timely closure of open items.• Review and validate salary-related expenses, ensuring compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and payroll accounting standards.• Act as a key contributor during internal and external audits, leading data preparation, walkthroughs, and resolution of complex audit queries.• Ensure strict adherence to operational schedules, proactively manage escalations, and serve as a point of contact for process-related inquiries.• Drive process improvement initiatives, automation projects, and client-driven transformation efforts with measurable impact.• Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Controllership, and Business Units to support strategic finance initiatives and reporting enhancements.
Qualifications we seek in you!• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.• Relevant years of hands-on experience in general ledger and financial accounting operations, preferably in a multinational manufacturing company.• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred), with demonstrated expertise in financial modules, reporting tools, and month-end close automation.• In-depth knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and local statutory requirements, with practical experience in applying standards to complex transactions.• Strong command of English (minimum B2 level), with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills• Proven experience in leading process improvement initiatives, automation, and digital finance transformation.• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.• Professional certifications (e.g., CMA, ACCA, CPA) are a strong advantage.• French language skills are an advantage
