Role Description The Director of Performance Marketing is a full-time, on-site role based in Alexandria, responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and optimization of performance marketing campaigns across multiple channels. This role oversees campaign planning, budgeting, and forecasting to achieve defined growth, lead generation, and revenue targets. Daily responsibilities include managing a team of marketers, analyzing campaign performance data, running tests and experiments, and refining tactics to improve ROI and conversion rates. The Director will collaborate with sales and other internal stakeholders to align marketing initiatives with business objectives, develop integrated go-to-market plans, and ensure consistent messaging and brand positioning. This role also involves staying current on industry trends, platforms, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in performance marketing efforts.
Qualifications
Proven expertise in Market Planning and Marketing, with the ability to design and execute integrated performance marketing strategies. Strong background in Marketing Management, including leading teams, managing budgets, and overseeing cross-channel campaigns. Experience in Market Research and using data to inform segmentation, targeting, positioning, and optimization decisions. Demonstrated collaboration with Sales to align demand generation programs with pipeline and revenue goals. Advanced skills in performance analytics and reporting, including familiarity with marketing analytics tools and dashboards. Ability to work on-site in Alexandria and partner effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors or agencies. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.
