Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo for a Senior Plumbing Design Engineer. The role involves designing, planning, and overseeing plumbing systems to ensure functionality, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities include creating detailed plumbing designs, collaborating with architects and other engineers on building services projects, conducting water supply system calculations, and ensuring integration with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. The candidate will also be required to review project designs, provide technical support, and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
Qualifications Expertise in Plumbing and Plumbing Design Proficiency in Water Supply systems and related design work Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems Experience in Building Services design and implementation Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and industry codes Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., Auto CAD, Revit, or similar tools) Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Professional experience in a similar senior-level role within the field Knowledge of local building codes and industry regulations is an asset
