Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in New Cairo. The Pharmacist will dispense prescription medications accurately, verify prescriptions for appropriateness and potential interactions, and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory standards. Daily responsibilities include counseling patients on correct medication use, side effects, and storage, as well as answering health-related inquiries in a clear and respectful manner. The role involves managing inventory, checking stock levels and expiry dates, and coordinating with suppliers to maintain medication availability. The Pharmacist will also maintain accurate patient and prescription records, support quality and safety procedures, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient pharmacy operations and a positive customer experience. Qualifications Current license or eligibility to practice as a Pharmacist in the relevant jurisdiction, with a Bachelor’s or Pharm D degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution. Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and pharmaceutical regulations, with a commitment to medication safety and accuracy. Excellent patient counseling and communication skills, with the ability to explain medical information clearly to individuals with diverse backgrounds. Proficiency in using pharmacy management systems, prescription processing software, and basic computer applications. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team, maintain professionalism under pressure, and handle confidential information responsibly. Willingness to work full-time on-site in New Cairo, including evenings, weekends, or shifts as needed to meet patient and business needs. Previous community pharmacy experience is an advantage, as is familiarity with insurance processes and third-party billing.
