Job Summary The Retail Design & Delivery Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end retail design and delivery process, ensuring all retail units are designed, fitted out, and delivered according to company standards, timelines, and commercial objectives. The role involves coordinating with tenants, consultants, contractors, leasing, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution and high-quality retail environments.
Key Responsibilities Retail Design Management Review and approve tenant retail designs, shop drawings, and fit-out submissions. Ensure compliance with mall design guidelines, technical standards, and brand requirements. Support tenants during concept development and fit-out stages. Project Delivery Manage retail unit delivery from design approval through fit-out completion and store opening. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure progress and compliance. Tenant Coordination Act as the main point of contact for tenants regarding design and delivery matters. Coordinate with tenants, contractors, consultants, and internal departments to resolve project issues. Ensure tenants meet fit-out deadlines and operational readiness requirements. Technical Coordination Coordinate with MEP, architectural, and construction teams to ensure proper execution. Review technical drawings and identify potential design or construction conflicts. Ensure all works comply with safety regulations and authority requirements. Quality Control Ensure high-quality standards during fit-out and delivery phases. Conduct snagging inspections and oversee issue resolution before handover.
Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or related field.5–10 years of experience in retail design, fit-out, or commercial project delivery. Strong experience in shopping malls, mixed-use developments, or retail environments. Excellent knowledge of retail fit-out processes and tenant coordination. Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, and project management tools. Good understanding of MEP coordination and construction processes. Strong project management and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to manage multiple retail projects simultaneously.
