Cost Estimation Engineer Location: Alexandria Objective To obtain a challenging on-site position as a Civil Tender Engineer within infrastructure construction, where I can apply my knowledge in quantity surveying, site evaluation, and technical bidding to prepare accurate tenders that reflect real site conditions and support the company’s growth in large-scale civil projects.
Functional Responsibilities Review and analyze tender documents including BOQs, drawings, and technical specifications. Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals for civil and infrastructure projects. Coordinate with design, procurement, and cost control departments for accurate inputs. Obtain and evaluate offers from suppliers and subcontractors. Ensure all tender submissions are complete, accurate, and submitted on time. Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and clarification sessions. Support value engineering activities and cost optimization suggestions. Handover successful bids to project execution team with all technical/commercial details.job requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory)6-9 years of experience in civil/infrastructure tendering and cost estimation Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Auto CAD, and tendering tools (e.g., CCS Candy, Primavera) Familiarity with local construction regulations and international codes Strong technical writing and analytical skills
