The Lab Engineer is responsible for supporting the instruction and delivery of laboratory courses offered to first-year students across the university. The role includes preparing laboratory equipment and materials, assisting students during practical sessions, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and supporting faculty members in maintaining an effective learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management and coordination of Classical Mechanics, and Electricity and Magnetism labs.
- Design, analysis, preparation, and maintenance of experiments setups; prepare, revise, and improve the laboratory and safety manuals, and database.
- Write proposals and perform consultations with vendors for teaching and research lab equipment.
- Work as a Teaching Assistant on an adhoc basis.
- Other relevant duties assigned by the program as needed.
