AZOROM is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for an upcoming international power sector assignment in Egypt.
The role will support the upgrade of a Regional Control Centre and associated facilities. We are particularly interested in experts with experience in civil works for control centres, dispatch centres, substations, data centres, or other mission-critical technical buildings.
Key requirements:BSc in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline Fluent English At least 10 years of relevant civil engineering experience Experience with control centre buildings, technical buildings, substations, data centres, or utility/infrastructure facilities Experience in building rehabilitation, refurbishment, site supervision, QA/QC, contractor coordination, inspection and handover Ability to oversee or coordinate architectural works would be an advantage Familiarity with Egyptian or comparable MENA building codes, permitting requirements, and construction regulations Experience in Egypt, MENA, North Africa, or similar developing-country infrastructure environments would be beneficial
The assignment is expected to involve civil and architectural works related to the upgrade and rehabilitation of an operational control centre building, including technical rooms and associated facilities.
