Job Summary The Assistant Operations Manager supports the daily operational management of the mall, ensuring smooth operations, high customer experience standards, tenant satisfaction, safety compliance, and effective coordination between all operational departments including security, housekeeping, maintenance, parking, and tenant relations.
Key Responsibilities• Support the Mall Operations Manager in overseeing the mall’s daily operations.• Coordinate and monitor operational activities including security, housekeeping, maintenance, landscaping, parking, and waste management.• Ensure the mall operates in compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.• Conduct regular mall inspections to ensure operational standards and appearance are maintained.• Handle operational escalations and assist in resolving tenant and customer complaints efficiently.• Coordinate with tenants regarding operational requirements, fit-out activities, deliveries, and maintenance works.• Monitor contractor and service provider performance to ensure SLA compliance.• Support emergency response procedures and crisis management plans.• Assist in managing operational budgets and controlling operational expenses.• Prepare operational reports including incidents, maintenance updates, footfall observations, and service performance reports.• Ensure smooth coordination between leasing, marketing, facility management, and tenant relations teams.• Support mall events and promotional activities from an operational perspective.
Qualifications & Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Facility Management, or related field.• 4–7 years of experience in mall operations, property management, facility management, or commercial real estate.• Experience in shopping malls, mixed-use developments, or retail environments is highly preferred.• Strong understanding of mall operations, facility coordination, and customer service standards.• Good knowledge of health & safety regulations and operational compliance.• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.• Ability to manage multiple operational activities simultaneously.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational reporting systems.
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Working Days: Saturday to Thursday Location: New Cairo – The Yard Mall
