Mosaic Holding Corporation, headquartered in Calgary Canada, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to join the MHCEG Office in Cairo, Egypt. This position plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing quality standards across architectural and engineering projects within our international delivery platform supporting projects across the Middle East, North America, and other global markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enforcing quality assurance and quality control standards throughout all phases of project development. This role requires strong technical expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary and international teams. As part of our long-term talent development strategy, high-performing team members may have future opportunities for transfer or relocation to our offices in Canada or the United States, depending on performance, business needs, and position availability within our North American operations. Role Overview The QA/QC Engineer will oversee quality management processes, review technical documentation, monitor compliance with international standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives across MHCEG projects. The role will also involve direct coordination with subsidiary companies and technical teams in Canada and the United States to ensure consistency in project delivery standards. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) and QA/QC procedures across projects. Prepare and manage RACI matrices to improve accountability, communication, and workflow coordination. Conduct regular reviews of incoming and outgoing office documentation to ensure compliance with approved IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings, project specifications, and company standards. Review shop drawings, BIM models, material submittals, MIRs (Material Inspection Requests), and WIRs (Work Inspection Requests). Issue, monitor, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) while implementing corrective and preventive actions. Ensure all project deliverables comply with international engineering standards and codes including ISO 9001, ASTM, ACI, and BS standards. Coordinate with architects, engineers, BIM teams, consultants, and project managers to resolve quality-related issues. Support quality audits, technical reviews, and internal compliance evaluations. Maintain quality documentation, reports, inspection logs, and audit summaries. Coordinate directly with sister companies and project teams in Canada and the United States during design reviews, project coordination, and testing phases. Assist in strengthening quality assurance procedures and continuous improvement initiatives across MHCEG operations. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Structural Engineering preferred). Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in QA/QC roles within engineering, architecture, or construction industries. Strong understanding of quality management systems and international engineering standards. Experience reviewing shop drawings, IFC packages, technical documentation, and BIM coordination workflows. Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office applications. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are mandatory. Strong technical writing abilities for NCRs, reports, audit summaries, and project documentation. Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain professional and collaborative relationships while enforcing quality standards. Experience working with multidisciplinary or international teams is highly preferred.
