Job Details

The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various financial analyses to support the organization's financial operations. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the organization's financial transactions are recorded accurately, timely, and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including tax laws and accounting standards. Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, issuing payments, and reconciling accounts. Perform financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making. Develop and implement effective financial controls to minimize risk and prevent fraud. Manage cash flow and financial resources to ensure the organization's financial stability. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Assist with the development of financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
Required Job Qualifications and Competencies:Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Experience with accounting software and computer systems, such as Quick Books, SAP, or Oracle. Knowledge of accounting principles and standards, tax laws, and financial regulations. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
