Key Responsibilities1. Business Development & Pipeline Management Identify, prospect, and engage potential clients. Monitor and track upcoming tenders and projects across target regions. Maintain an active sales pipeline using CRM tools to forecast revenue and track lead conversions.2. Account Management & Client Relations Serve as the main point of contact for existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities. Conduct regular follow-ups and service reviews with operators, contractors, and ship owners. Understand clients' technical challenges and articulate how UMSCO’s assets and crew can safely and cost-effectively solve them.3. Bidding, Proposals & Contract Negotiation Collaborate with the technical and operations teams to prepare competitive commercial and technical proposals. Assist in compiling documentation for pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs) and formal tenders. Participate in negotiating contract terms, pricing structures, and service level agreements (SLAs) within company compliance margins.
Requirements & Qualifications Experience & Education:Experience: 2 to 3 years of proven sales or business development experience. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Skills & Competencies:Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated ability to read tender requirements, understand commercial margins, and draft polished proposals. Communication: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Drive & Agility: A self-starter mentality with a startup-like agility to pivot and respond quickly to urgent inquiries.
