About the Role The Assistant Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading multi-site maintenance operations across an assigned area of restaurants, ensuring efficient restaurant operations and business continuity. The role focuses on managing preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, facilities management, and equipment reliability while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards across F&B operations.
Key Responsibilities• Manage and monitor daily maintenance operations, including maintenance projects, new restaurant openings, relocations, and renovation activities.• Oversee spare parts inventory and consumption to ensure availability and identify opportunities for improvement and cost optimization.• Ensure effective utilization of warranties and provide technical guidance to maintenance teams to maintain responsive support for restaurant operations.• Ensure all maintenance projects are completed within the required quality standards, timelines, and approved budgets.• Manage maintenance work orders and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.• Drive cost efficiency by optimizing the utilization of labor, materials, and operational assets.• Ensure preventive maintenance activities across restaurants and offices are executed according to schedule.• Monitor and improve equipment performance to minimize operational disruptions and downtime.
Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Maintenance Management.
Required Experience & Skills• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering.• 7–9 years of experience as Assistant Maintenance Manager within Retail, Hospitality, or F&B Operations.• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance.• Experience with HVAC, refrigeration systems, kitchen equipment, and facility maintenance.• Experience managing multi-site maintenance operations is highly preferred.
