We’re hiring: Presales / Technical Consultant — Cybersecurity Software A growing cybersecurity software vendor is expanding its presence in Egypt and is looking for a strong Presales / Technical Consultant to support customer demos, partner enablement, technical discovery, and proof-of-concept activities. This role is ideal for someone who understands cybersecurity technologies and can translate technical capabilities into clear business value for CISOs, CIOs, IT Managers, Compliance Managers, Risk Teams, and Internal Audit stakeholders. Role Overview The Presales / Technical Consultant will play a key role in presenting and demonstrating cybersecurity solutions focused on:Data Loss Prevention Insider Risk Monitoring Employee Activity Monitoring File Access Auditing SIEM / Security Monitoring Sensitive Data Discovery Investigation and Reporting Workflows The role will work closely with the country leadership, partners, and HQ technical teams to support demos, partner training, customer workshops, and 2–4 week proof-of-concept engagements. Key Responsibilities Deliver structured product demos to end users, partners, and enterprise customers. Support technical discovery meetings with customers to understand their environment, risks, and requirements. Explain cybersecurity value clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Build demo scenarios around data leakage, insider threats, file access monitoring, and security investigations. Scope proof-of-concept engagements, including success criteria, timelines, required integrations, and expected outputs. Support partner enablement through technical training and demo walkthroughs. Prepare technical responses, FAQs, and objection-handling material. Work with HQ teams to understand product capabilities, licensing, deployment models, and technical requirements. Support sales teams and partners in converting demos and POCs into qualified opportunities. Prepare POC summary reports and recommendations for customers. Required Experience The ideal candidate should have hands-on or presales experience in one or more of the following areas:Endpoint Security Data Loss Prevention SIEM / SOC Tools Microsoft 365 Security Active Directory File Servers Email Security Insider Threat / User Activity Monitoring Data Security / Information Protection Security Operations or Incident Investigation Required Skills Ability to run clear, structured cybersecurity demos. Strong understanding of enterprise IT and security environments. Ability to speak with CISOs, CIOs, IT Managers, Compliance Managers, and Risk/Internal Audit teams. Ability to translate technical features into business value. Good presentation, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to scope 2–4 week proof-of-concept projects. Strong problem-solving and customer-facing skills. Fluent Arabic and good English communication skills. First 30 Days During the first month, the selected candidate will be expected to:Week 1: Complete product training with HQ and understand the core modules, licensing model, deployment options, and technical architecture. Week 2: Build localized demo scenarios for Egypt, including use cases for financial services, BPO/call centers, and manufacturing/IP protection. Week 3: Run an internal demo for the country leadership and HQ team, refine the demo flow, and prepare technical FAQs. Week 4: Support the first partner demos, customer presentations, or partner training sessions. Interview Task Shortlisted candidates may be asked to prepare a 20-minute demo story explaining:“How a cybersecurity platform can detect and investigate an employee leaking sensitive files through email, USB, or cloud upload.”Location Egypt Hybrid / On-site depending on customer and partner meetings.
