Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for an English Social Studies Teacher based in Cairo, Egypt, with flexibility for remote work. The teacher will design and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards, teach Social Studies with a specialization in World History, and support middle school students in their academic growth. Additional responsibilities include assessing student progress, creating instructional materials, and fostering a collaborative classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and active participation.
Qualifications Proficiency in teaching Social Studies and World History with a strong foundation in historical concepts Experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development, ensuring alignment with educational standards Familiarity with Middle School education, including an understanding of age-appropriate teaching methodologies Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build a positive relationship with students and colleagues Bachelor’s degree in Education, History, Social Studies, or a related field; teaching certification is preferred Ability to integrate technology into the classroom and adapt to a hybrid teaching environment
