Job Summary We are seeking a Data Governance Engineer to support and enhance enterprise data governance practices across the organization. The successful candidate will help establish governance frameworks, metadata management processes, data cataloging, and data compliance standards to ensure trusted and governed data assets. Key Responsibilities Implement and maintain enterprise data governance frameworks and policies. Support data catalog, metadata management, and business glossary initiatives. Collaborate with data owners and stakeholders to define data standards and governance controls. Monitor data governance compliance and data stewardship activities. Support data lineage, data classification, and privacy initiatives. Participate in data quality improvement programs and governance committees. Work closely with engineering and business teams to ensure governance requirements are embedded into data solutions. Support regulatory and compliance requirements related to data management. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Systems, or related field.2–4 years of experience in Data Governance, Metadata Management, or Data Management. Knowledge of data governance frameworks, metadata management, and data catalog tools. Experience with governance platforms such as Informatica or Oval Edge is preferred. Familiarity with data privacy and compliance standards. Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Certifications Candidates with the following certifications will be highly preferred:Oval Edge Certified (Data Engineer & Discovery Expert / Data Literacy & Data Privacy Professional) Informatica Cloud Data Governance & Catalog Foundation ISO 8000 (Data Quality Expertise)
