Role Description This is a full-time on-site role based in Egypt for a Field Service Engineer. The responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of medical and sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and surgical equipment. The engineer will perform equipment validation, upgrades, and automation using PLC systems and will also provide training and customer support to ensure seamless service delivery. Collaborating with technicians and clients to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability is an integral part of the role.
Qualifications Technical skills in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing medical equipment, including autoclaves and surgical tables. Proficiency in automation technologies, including experience with PLC systems, HMI, and classic control systems Knowledge of validation and calibration processes for medical equipment, particularly sterilizers . Strong interpersonal and communication skills for providing training and client support Ability to manage parts, including sourcing and installation of spare components like solenoids, repair kits, and circuit boards Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field Relevant certifications or training in medical equipment maintenance or automation is a plus Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Fluency in written and spoken English .
