Responsibilities
The candidate will have the following tasks but not limited to:
- Provide technical assistance to the project manager on the project specification, interface, and scope of works.
- Prepare and update project budget, progress report, and work breakdown structure for the installation and testing works.
- Review with project manager and customer on the design progress including approvals for any changes that affect the cost, scheduling, or performance of the project.
- Assist interface manager to oversee all the interface issues between subsystem and civil work packages.
- Prepare method statement for signaling and communication equipment installation.
- Prepare quality installation checklist and PICO for all equipment installation including mechanical installation, cable pulling works, and cable megger, termination, and continuity test.
- Conduct installation readiness review with all stakeholders. Conduct installation mockup and ensure all installation related documents and drawings are submitted to the customer and formally approved by client before starting the formal installation.
Qualifications
The candidate should have an electrical engineering degree and a minimum of 15 years of general professional experience in the field of signaling for rail or metro projects.
