Job Summary:This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head Chef based in Cairo, Egypt. The Head Chef must be familiar with both Western and Eastern cuisine and have strong knowledge of international cuisines and luxury service standards.
Role Description The Chef will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of dishes, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring high-quality food and presentation standards. This role requires strong leadership, creativity, and the ability to manage a fast-paced kitchen environment while consistently delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
Kitchen Operations:Knowledge of various kitchen equipment, including an electrical combi steamer oven. Oversee daily food preparation and ensure smooth kitchen workflow. HACCP or Food Safety Certification preferred. Hygiene and Safety Compliance: Uphold and implement health and safety standards in the kitchen, ensuring a clean and safe work environment for all staff. Proficiency in kitchen management, including inventory control, and ensuring all culinary operations adhere to established standards and guest satisfaction.
Guest Experience & Stakeholder Coordination:Collaborate with F&B, Service, and Operations teams for smooth service delivery. Address guest feedback related to food quality promptly and professionally. Support special events, banquets, and high-volume service periods.
Operational Efficiency: Manage kitchen operations to guarantee timely meal preparation and service. Optimize workflows and procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Engage with guests to gather feedback and address any concerns proactively. Create memorable culinary experiences that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications Formal diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management. Minimum 8–10 years of culinary experience, including 3–5 years as an Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef in luxury hotels or fine dining establishments. Candidates applying must have previous work experience outside of Egypt in international 5-star hotels. Extensive experience in culinary arts, including menu creation, food preparation, and presentation. Must have experience working in a commercial kitchen environment
