Job Overview Sydney-Tech is seeking a skilled Software Operation Engineer to join our team in a remotecapacity. The ideal candidate will provide technical support for our software applications, ensuringoptimal performance and customer satisfaction. This role requires a stable internet connection tofacilitate seamless communication and support of clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide maintenance and technical support for software applications.- Generate reports to meet business and client needs.- Test new developed components and deploy them in production systems.- Provide feedback to the development team from users and customers, and follow-up bugs fixing.- Create and maintain monitoring scripts to enhance systems reliability.- Develop small software components to automate and enhance the systems.- Manage and troubleshoot systems’ databases to ensure data availability and performance.
Technical Skills Required- Minimum 2 years of experience in software support or a related field.- Excellent knowledge in SQL.- Good knowledge in Linux commands.- Proven capabilities in software manual testing.- Knowledge in any scripting language to automate tasks.- Basic knowledge in Postgre SQL DB.
Job Requirements- Bachelor degree in computer science or a related discipline.- Proven ability to respond promptly to customer inquiries and technical issues.- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with clients.- Good verbal and written communication in English.- Reliable high-speed internet connection for remote work.- Willingness to provide after-hours support for incidents and software deployment as necessary.
