???? Senior Software QA Engineer???? Role Purpose As a Senior Software QA Engineer, you will collaborate closely with Software Development Engineers and Quality Assurance Engineers to ensure all deliverables meet high-quality standards through both manual and automated testing. You will take ownership of test planning, test case design and maintenance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and testing practices. In addition, you will support and mentor other QA engineers, share knowledge within the team, and actively promote software quality best practices across the organisation.????️ Key Responsibilities???? Create, review, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases???? Identify product issues and proactively suggest improvements to maintain and enhance quality standards????️ Confidently challenge Product Owners and Developers when necessary to improve product quality???? Collaborate closely with development teams throughout the full software development lifecycle, performing both planned and exploratory testing???? Conduct investigative testing to determine root causes of issues and defects⚙️ Ensure QA processes and quality gates are followed and continuously improved???? ???? Support, guide, and mentor other QA engineers through collaboration and knowledge sharing???? Participate in team discussions, QA reviews, and quality improvement initiatives???? Perform additional QA-related tasks as required to support delivery and quality objectives???? Skills, Knowledge & Experience???? ???? Minimum 5+ years of experience in Software QA or a similar role???? Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline???? Strong expertise in UX/UI testing with excellent attention to detail, ideally including mobile application testing???? Hands-on experience with AI tools to accelerate automated test development???? Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright☁️ Experience using cloud-based testing platforms such as Lambda Test and AWS Device Farm???? Understanding of mobile application release processes for Android and i OS (advantageous)⚛️ Exposure to Flutter development framework (advantageous)????️ Strong knowledge of SQL and database testing???? Solid understanding of version control systems such as Git???? Proven experience creating and maintaining test scenarios, test cases, and test plans???? Experience with API testing and close collaboration with development teams???? Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments???? Experience in i Gaming or similar fast-paced industries (advantageous)???? ISTQB Foundation Level certification or higher (advantageous)???? Personal Attributes???? Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills❤️ Passion for software quality and continuous improvement of QA practices???? Ability to mentor and support junior QA engineers⚡ Self-motivated, proactive, and quick to learn new technologies???? Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently????️ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
