Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Production Coffee Roaster to join our team on-site in Cairo, Egypt. The Production Coffee Roaster will be responsible for handling day-to-day roasting operations, monitoring roast quality, and maintaining equipment to ensure consistent flavor profiles. You will collaborate with the roasting team, manage green bean inventory, and work alongside our certified baristas to continually elevate product excellence. Additional responsibilities include adhering to safety protocols, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with quality control and training processes.
Qualifications
Proficiency in coffee roasting techniques and operating roasting machines Understanding of green coffee profiles, origin characteristics, and quality assessment Strong attention to detail with experience in quality assurance and consistency Ability to maintain and troubleshoot coffee roasting equipment Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in coffee production Experience with inventory management and production workflows Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team SCA Certification or equivalent industry experience is preferred Flexibility to work on-site in Cairo, Egypt, and adapt to the production schedule
