Role Description As an Electrical BIM Engineer, you will play a key role in developing, coordinating, and delivering high‑quality electrical BIM models for a variety of commercial, institutional, and industrial projects. You will collaborate with design teams, project managers, and field teams to ensure accurate, clash‑free, and constructible electrical systems within a connected BIM ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone who understands the power of BIM for data‑rich modeling, loves solving coordination challenges, and enjoys pushing automation and digital tools to the next level.. Key Responsibilities BIM Modeling & Coordination Develop detailed electrical BIM models (lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, communication systems, grounding, etc.) in Revit. Maintain model accuracy, element connectivity, and adherence to internal and project standards. Participate in multi‑disciplinary coordination, identifying and resolving clashes in collaboration with structural, mechanical, and architectural teams. Prepare electrical BIM deliverables including plans, diagrams, schedules, and as‑built models. Collaboration & Support Work within cloud‑based collaboration platforms (e.g., Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM Collaborate Pro) to manage models, track issues, and coordinate revisions. Support project teams with BIM‑related questions, tools, and best practices. Attend coordination meetings and contribute to design discussions with internal and external stakeholders. Quality Assurance Perform model audits to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with BIM Execution Plans. Implement best practices for work-sharing, model health, and data organization. Innovation & Improvement Utilize automation tools, Dynamo scripts, and plug‑ins to improve modeling efficiency. Contribute to continuous improvement of BIM standards, templates, and workflows. Qualifications Required Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related field.1–2+ years of experience in electrical BIM modeling using Autodesk Revit. Strong understanding of electrical design principles and construction practices. Hands‑on experience with BIM coordination processes and clash resolution tools (e.g., Navisworks Manage). Familiarity with cloud‑based BIM workflows (ACC/BIM 360, BIM Collaborate Pro). Has a degree from Ain Shams/Cairo/Helwan/ Alexandria University is mandatory. Preferred Experience working on commercial, institutional, or large multi‑trade projects. Knowledge of Dynamo, scripting, or automation tools. Understanding of National and Provincial electrical codes (Ontario preferred). Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
