Position: Research Quality Specialist - Computational Biology (Task Based) Type: Short-Term Contract (8 weeks) Compensation: $61 per task Location: Remote Commitment: 8 hours per day with 4 hours overlap with PST
Role Responsibilities Develop and conceptualize original research-grade or graduate-level scientific problems using Python for scientific coding and programming Define problem categories, secondary tags, and assign appropriate difficulty levels Solve formulated problems using sound scientific and computational principles with high accuracy and logical coherence Participate in two-tier reviews to evaluate the accuracy and quality of problems and solutions Collaborate with reviewers and team leads to refine content and improve overall quality Contribute to challenging and insightful computational biology problem creation and solutioning Maintain high standards for analytical rigor and scientific accuracy
Requirements PhD or PhD Candidate in Computational Biology At least 1 peer-reviewed publication required Advanced proficiency in Python programming for scientific coding preferred Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and collaboration Linked In profile is mandatory Ability to work independently in a remote environment
