Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Qina, Egypt, for a Director of Housekeeping. The Director of Housekeeping will oversee daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction throughout the property. Responsibilities include managing housekeeping staff, monitoring laundry services, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, maintaining inventory, and managing budgets. Collaboration with other departments to deliver an exceptional guest experience is integral to this role.
Qualifications
Strong Supervisory Skills, including leadership, team management, and staff scheduling Commitment to Guest Satisfaction and delivering high-quality customer service Proficiency in Managing Laundry operations to maintain cleanliness and efficiency Experience in Budgeting and resource allocation to optimize department performance Knowledge of hotel operations and best practices in housekeeping management Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per operational requirements Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus
