We are seeking an experienced Head of Maintenance to lead the maintenance function at MASADER in Alexandria. This role is critical for ensuring plant equipment integrity, reliability, and availability through strategic planning and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities Maintenance Strategy & Planning: Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs for mechanical and E&IC equipment. Execution & Reliability: Lead troubleshooting of recurring failures, implement root cause corrective actions, and maintain reliability KPIs. Operational Leadership: Manage maintenance planning, work prioritization, and shutdown/turnaround preparation. Resource Management: Ensure a critical spare parts strategy and inventory levels that support reliability targets. Contractor & Safety Oversight: Manage contractors and ensure safe execution of work under Permit-To-Work (PTW), LOTO, and isolation requirements. Compliance & HR Support: Foster teamwork, ensure ethical conduct, and oversee personnel health compliance and medical fitness rules. Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation) or equivalent. Experience: 7–12+ years of maintenance experience in industrial plants, including leadership or supervisory roles. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of preventive/predictive maintenance systems, work management, and hands-on troubleshooting. Operational Proficiency: Knowledge of spare parts management, budgeting, and proficiency in MS Office; CMMS/ERP experience is an asset. Safety & Sustainability: A strong safety mindset with the ability to maintain records supporting ISCC sustainability requirements
