Roles & Responsibilities
What are my responsibilities?
- Lead and manage on-site OCS installation and construction activities in line with design, safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
- Plan and supervise daily site activities, ensuring accurate implementation of drawings and specifications.
- Manage installation teams and allocate resources efficiently to ensure productivity and safety.
- Oversee subcontractors performance, ensuring compliance with contracts, timelines, and quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to SHE policies through regular inspections and safe work practices.
- Coordinate logistics and material flow, ensuring timely availability and proper handling of OCS components.
- Implement and monitor quality control across installation, warehouses, and the 2nd Assembly Center, resolving non-conformities.
- Oversee operations of the 2nd Assembly Center and warehouses, ensuring efficient material management and readiness for installation.
- Monitor progress against schedule, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Report progress, risks, and performance updates to the OCS Project Manager.
- Coordinate with interfacing disciplines and liaise with the Design Manager to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure site readiness and manage the handover of completed OCS sections, including documentation and testing.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Bachelor s Degree in Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of OCS and construction practices
- Having hands-on experience in:
- OCS installation within railway/infrastructure projects
- Site supervision, subcontractor and logistics coordination
- Quality control and material/warehouse management
- Minimum of 8 12 years of relevant experience
- Strong in: Leadership, communication, problem-solving , planning, coordination, and reporting
- High-speed rail project experience is highly advantageous
- International/consortium environment exposure is a plus.
- Project management tools and multilingual skills are plus.
