What will you be doing?
- Record daily transactions in the general ledger system and ensure proper classification of expenses and revenues.
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and basic adjustments.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure all entries are accurate and properly documented.
- Prepare monthly closing schedules and ensure all required data is completed on time.
- Reconcile bank statements with accounting records and resolve any differences.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts such as receivables, payables, and intercompany balances.
- Prepare basic financial reports and accounting summaries for management review.
- Organize and maintain accounting records, invoices, and financial documents in an organized filing system.
- Check financial transactions for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Process and verify invoices, payments, and receipts in accounts payable and receivable.
- Update accounting records in the system and ensure data is always up to date.
