Job Title: Engineering Manager (Full-Stack Background) Role Manage the development team and ensure:Tasks are clearly defined and assigned No duplication of work between developers Time spent on tasks is reasonable and justified Work is delivered on time and as expected This role is responsible for controlling execution and team efficiency, not just managing meetings. Key Responsibilities Break features into clear tasks with defined outcomes Assign one owner per task Review and approve time estimates before work starts Monitor actual time spent vs estimated time Identify and stop duplicated or unnecessary work Review technical approach (backend and frontend) before implementation Ensure clean coordination between backend and frontend work Track progress and ensure timely delivery Qualifications5+ years experience in software development Previous experience leading or managing developers Strong understanding of both backend and frontend development Experience working in small or mid-size teams Familiar with task management tools (Jira, Click Up, Linear, etc.) Technical Requirement (Important) Must have hands-on experience in both:Backend development (APIs, databases, system logic) Frontend development (UI, integration with APIs) This is required to:Judge if task estimates are realistic Detect over-engineering or wasted effort Understand full workflow between frontend and backend Skills Ability to review and challenge technical decisions Strong task planning and organization Clear communication with developers Focus on results, not just activity Reporting Reports directly to Founder / CEOSuccess Criteria Tasks delivered on time Reduced duplication of work Better accuracy in time estimates Improved team productivity
