Role Overview The FP&A Manager is responsible for financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical support to help senior leadership make informed business decisions. This role bridges finance and operations, providing insights into performance, risks, and growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities1. Financial Planning & Forecasting Lead the annual budgeting process and long-term financial planning Develop and maintain rolling forecasts Analyze variances between actuals, budget, and forecasts2. Financial Analysis & Reporting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Deliver insights on revenue, costs, margins, and profitability Build dashboards and KPIs for performance tracking3. Business Partnering Collaborate with department heads to align financial goals with operational plans Support strategic initiatives, investments, and cost optimization efforts Provide financial modeling for business cases and scenarios4. Data & Modeling Develop and maintain financial models (e.g., revenue forecasting, pricing, ROI analysis) Use data analytics tools to extract insights and improve decision-making5. Process Improvement Streamline financial planning and reporting processes Improve data accuracy, automation, and reporting efficiency6. Team Leadership (if applicable) Manage and mentor FP&A analysts Ensure high-quality deliverables and professional development Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA/CFA often preferred)8–20+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related roles Strong financial modeling and analytical skills Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g., ERP, BI tools like Power BI or Tableau) Excellent communication and presentation skills Key Skills Strategic thinking and problem-solving Attention to detail and data accuracy Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights Stakeholder management and business acumen Time management and ability to meet tight deadlines
