Role Description
This is a full-time remote position for a Vendor Relations & Business Development Manager. The individual in this role will spearhead efforts to establish and maintain relationships with vendors, identify and onboard new business opportunities, and negotiate mutually beneficial contracts. The Manager will analyze market trends, collaborate with internal teams, and develop strategies to drive growth and marketplace success. Other day-to-day responsibilities include resolving vendor issues, monitoring performance, and ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Recruitment: Identify, prospect, and onboard new vendors across all product categories — from SMEs to established Saudi brands Vendor Onboarding: Guide vendors through the full onboarding process including registration, product listing, and platform training Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all vendors — manage ongoing relationships, resolve disputes, and drive satisfaction Contract Negotiation: Negotiate vendor agreements, commission structures, and exclusivity deals Arabic Content Review: Review and approve Arabic product listings and vendor-submitted content for accuracy and quality B2B Sales: Identify and approach corporate buyers for the B2B side of the marketplace Performance Management: Monitor vendor performance metrics and work with underperforming vendors to improve GCC Expansion: Lead vendor recruitment for GCC market entry within 4–5 months of Saudi launch
Qualifications
Vendor management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills3-6 years of experience in vendor management, business development, or account management Proficiency in business development, partnership management, and strategic planning Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills Analytical skills, data interpretation, and problem-solving abilities Proven experience in e-commerce or a related field is highly desirable A results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
