Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt, for the position of Tendering Team Leader. The Tendering Team Leader will oversee the preparation and submission of accurate and competitive tenders for electromechanical and/or mechanical works. Responsibilities include leading the tendering team, analyzing new projects, preparing cost estimates, ensuring compliance with technical and commercial requirements, and coordinating with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors. The role also involves performing risk assessments and providing recommendations to optimize project bids.
Qualifications Strong expertise in electrical and mechanical tendering, with experience in preparing cost estimates and bid proposals. Proficiency in project analysis, technical and commercial feasibility studies, and performing risk assessments. Management skills for leading and coordinating cross-functional tendering teams and collaborating with stakeholders. Proficiency in relevant software, including estimation, scheduling, and project management tools. Exceptional communication and organizational skills along with attention to detail. Proven experience in the construction or engineering industry, particularly in electromechanical systems. Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a related field. A master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
