Architectural Drafter (Acoustics Engineering Team)
Job Summary:We are looking for a detail-oriented Architectural Drafter to join our Acoustics Engineering team. The role focuses on producing accurate architectural drawings, 3D models, and BIM documentation that support acoustic design solutions for various building types. The ideal candidate will translate architectural and engineering input into precise technical outputs that help ensure optimal acoustic performance, coordination, and constructability. Key Responsibilities:Develop detailed 2D architectural drawings including plans, sections, elevations, and technical details with a focus on acoustic-related design requirements. Produce and maintain accurate 3D models for design visualization, coordination, and acoustic simulation support. Collaborate closely with acoustical engineers, architects, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate acoustic requirements into architectural designs. Update and revise drawings and models based on engineering feedback, site conditions, and project development stages. Support BIM workflows, ensuring accurate model coordination and data integration across disciplines. Ensure all drawings comply with relevant building codes, project specifications, and acoustic design standards. Assist in preparing documentation for design reviews, client presentations, and construction packages. Maintain proper drawing standards, version control, and project documentation. Required Skills & Software Proficiency:Proficient in Autodesk Auto CAD for 2D architectural drawings and detailed construction documentation. Proficient in Sketch Up or Auto CAD 3D for 3D architectural modeling and visualization. Strong experience in Autodesk Revit for architectural modeling, BIM coordination, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Qualifications:Degree or diploma in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or related field. Previous experience as an Architectural Drafter or BIM Modeler is preferred. Strong understanding of architectural detailing, construction methods, and spatial design principles. Interest or exposure to acoustics, building performance, or technical design coordination is a plus. High attention to detail, accuracy, and technical precision. Ability to work within a multidisciplinary engineering environment. Strong organizational and communication skills.
