Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Alexandria, Egypt. As an ISO 27001 Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS). Your daily tasks will include conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance, coordinating audits, drafting security policies, and providing training to staff. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify security gaps, analyze compliance requirements, and monitor the effectiveness of controls.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of ISO 27001 standards, Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), and related frameworks Experience with conducting audits, risk assessments, and implementing compliance programs Knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations such as GDPR and other global standards Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and managing security policies and procedures Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across departments Professional certification(s) such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer are highly desirable Bachelor's degree in Information Security, IT, or related field Proven experience managing organizational compliance in a regulated or enterprise environment
