Job Summary:The Senior QC Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all construction and installation activities for substation projects comply with approved specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements. This role plays a critical part in maintaining quality assurance/control processes, conducting inspections, and supporting project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes in line with international standards.
Key Responsibilities:Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures across substation projects Conduct inspections for electrical installation works (GIS/AIS, transformers, switchgear, cabling, etc.) Review and approve ITPs, method statements, and quality documentation Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and applicable standards (IEC, IEEE) Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors on quality-related matters Raise NCRs, follow up on corrective/preventive actions, and ensure proper closure Support testing, commissioning, and final handover processes Maintain quality records, reports, and documentation Participate in internal and external audits
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering8–12 years of experience in QA/QC within substation / power projects Strong experience in HV/MV substations (GIS/AIS) Solid knowledge of international standards (IEC, IEEE) Experience in inspections, testing, and commissioning support Strong attention to detail and reporting skills Preferred:
