Role Description
The Senior Mechanical Project Engineer will lead and oversee the development, design, and execution of mechanical engineering projects. Responsibilities include planning, managing project timelines, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with technical standards and client requirements. The role requires creating detailed designs using CAD tools and providing input on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo, Egypt.
Qualifications
Expertise in Mechanical Engineering and Project Engineering, with the ability to lead and execute complex projects effectively. Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to prepare, analyze, and refine detailed technical drawings and models. Experience in Project Management, including planning, budget control, and stakeholder collaboration for successful project delivery. Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and integration with broader engineering solutions. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with prior experience in a similar role preferred. Solid understanding of engineering regulations, codes, and compliance standards in Egypt. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.
