???? Position Overview: We are looking for a talented and self-motivated Graphic Design Intern to join our team at Drop Me. The ideal candidate should be passionate about sustainability and possess strong design skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. As a Graphic Design Intern, you will be responsible for creating visually engaging graphics and designs for various marketing channels, including social media, email, and the website. You will also work closely with the content team to develop marketing materials, such as flyers, brochures, and infographics. This role requires a commitment to excellence, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:Brand Development:Assist in creating and maintaining a consistent brand identity across all marketing materials. Design logos, icons, and other visual elements that align with Drop Me’s brand guidelines. Develop and update brand style guides to ensure uniformity in design. Marketing Collateral:Design and produce high-quality digital and print marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, and social media graphics. Create visually appealing presentations and pitch decks for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with the marketing team to design compelling advertisements and promotional content. Digital Media:Design website elements, landing pages, and email templates that enhance user experience and engagement. Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites. Create and edit visual content for social media platforms, ensuring alignment with current trends and platform requirements. User Interface (UI) Design:Assist in designing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for Drop Me’s recycling vending machines and mobile applications. Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize design concepts and gather feedback. Collaborate with UX designers to ensure seamless integration of visual elements into functional interfaces. Illustration and Infographics:Develop custom illustrations and infographics to effectively communicate complex ideas and data. Create engaging visual content to support blog posts, articles, and reports. Ensure all illustrations and infographics are consistent with Drop Me’s visual style and messaging. Project Management:Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality work. Work closely with the marketing and product teams to understand project requirements and deliverables. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance marketing strategies.
Requirements:Minimum of 6 months of experience in graphic design BSc in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field Knowledge of design principles and best practices for digital and print media Proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools. Interesting portfolio showcasing creativity, technical skills, and a keen eye for detail. Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, with excellent communication and time management skills. Passionate about sustainability, environmental issues, and making a positive impact in the world. Experience with video editing and motion graphics is a plus.
