???? Job Title: R&D Specialist (Furniture / Interior Design)
???? Job Summary
Responsible for developing and improving furniture designs, materials, and production methods to enhance product quality, reduce cost, and meet market trends.
???? Key Responsibilities
Research and develop new furniture designs and concepts
Study market trends and competitors to generate innovative ideas
Create 3D models using 3ds Max and prepare presentations using Photoshop
Select suitable materials, finishes, and hardware
Prepare technical drawings and production details
Coordinate with production team to ensure design feasibility
Develop prototypes and test product performance
Optimize designs for cost efficiency and manufacturability
Solve technical issues related to design and materials
Maintain documentation for all R&D activities
???? Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design / Architecture / Industrial Design
2–5 years experience in furniture design or R&D
Strong knowledge of materials (MDF, HPL, veneer, hardware, etc.)
???? Technical Skills
Proficiency in 3ds Max
Good knowledge of Photoshop
Ability to read and prepare technical drawings
Understanding of production processes
???? Soft Skills
Creative thinking and innovation
Strong problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork
Attention to detail
Time management
???? Plus (Preferred)
Experience in office or home furniture industry
Knowledge of cost estimation
