Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Technical Office Engineer specializing in Steel Structures, located in Qesm El Maadi. The role involves preparing and reviewing shop drawings, developing bills of quantities (BOQ), and providing detailed technical support for steel structural projects. Responsibilities also include coordinating with various engineering disciplines and ensuring the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of project deliverables while adhering to industry standards and codes.
Qualifications
Proficiency in creating and reviewing Shop Drawings and Bills of Quantities (BOQ). Solid understanding of Civil Engineering principles, with familiarity in Structural and Steel Engineering. Knowledge of Electrical Engineering to support coordination in multidisciplinary projects. Experience in Quantity Surveying and cost estimation for steel structural projects. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Proficiency in design and engineering software such as Auto CAD, Tekla, or equivalent. Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with project stakeholders.
