Overview Of The Role:

• The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring that the visual expression of the store aligns with IKEA manuals, thereby fully implementing the IKEA Concept. This role requires coordination with various teams to execute in-store displays and solutions, maintaining brand integrity, and ensuring inspirational and functional home furnishing solutions. The Visual Merchandiser also supports commercial calendar implementation, takes responsibility for maintaining store standards, and contributes to the brand capital while adhering to safety and legislative requirements.

What You Will Do:

Commercial

• Secure the visual expression of the store is in line with IKEA manuals to fully implement the IKEA Concept.
• Plan and coordinate the execution of various in-store displays including compact, accessory shops, shop windows, and activity podiums.
• Ensure the integrity of the IKEA concept by producing functional home furnishing solutions.
• Collaborate with the Visual merchandising leader to align display solutions with commercial activities.
• Work with the Sales and In-Store Logistics teams to efficiently implement projects or daily sales activities using IKEA display solutions.
• Support the planning and execution of the store commercial calendar.
• Implement cost-effective, safe, and environmentally friendly display solutions in line with local legislation.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of home furnishing solutions within the local market.

Skills

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Ability to visualize, design, and communicate home furnishing solutions.
• Attention to detail and aesthetics with strong execution skills.
• Proficient in computer applications like Revit, AutoCad, and SketchUp.
• Ability to lead in planning, presentation, and implementation of range presentation solutions at retail organization level.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

• Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, product design, applied arts, or Architecture.
• 0-3 years of experience in retail interior design, architectural planning or visual merchandising.
• Passion for interior design and home furnishings.
• Good knowledge of market relevance and the local market.
